CONSTANT CRAVINGS
The pot in the video was my favorite dedicated popcorn pot (can't you tell?!?! LOL). It marks the humble beginnings of SmokeyCorn®, a tamer version of which I've made for family and friends for years. Indeed, I have a friend who comes to visit from Chicago, and the first thing for which she asks when she crosses the threshold is my seasoned popcorn. And when I visit her in Chicago, the request is the same: POPCORN PLEASE!

In 2008, my brother was diagnosed with brain cancer; he lived four short months. At that time, I decided that MY health had to be a priority, and that decision influenced the composition of my favorite snack: popcorn.
When I crafted SmokeyCorn®, I sourced the finest spices I could find within the confines of the U.S. (made in America is important to me). Beyond the synergistic flavors, I purposefully formulated SmokeyCorn® with the intention of its being good to you AND good for you.
SMOKELESS: IT'S MORE THAN YOU THINK
Smokeless is another nickname. So when I thought about creating a flavor with no smoky ingredients, what I was going to name it was never in question. And while Smokeless doesn't have the signature smoky spices, its essence is truly distinctive.
It all starts with the crisp, luscious Amish Country popcorn. Plus, it has a host of other good-for-you ingredients like nutritional yeast and garlic. Smokeless is a sumptuous layering of flavors for your tastebuds.

The Story of SmokeyCorn®️: A Flavor Revolution
A Lifelong Love Affair with PopcornMy love for popcorn is rooted in cherished childhood memories. I remember going to the drive-thru movies with my mom and siblings. Before we left home, my mom would make a huge bag of popcorn and we’d hide it under our legs to sneak it through the entrance. We enjoyed that popcorn the best. And my nostalgia fuels my passion for creating popcorn that brings joy to others. My favorite way to eat popcorn remains simple and reminiscent of those days: out of a brown paper bag. I’m addicted to crunch. Crackers, pickles, and granola are some of my crunchy favorites. But popcorn tops them all, fulfilling my cravings with every handful.
The Inspiration Behind SmokeyCorn®️
My journey began with a simple yet powerful realization: With the explosion of low-calorie popcorn brands on the market, the low-cal popcorn sector was in dire need of some oomph! After sampling a bag of the current market leader, I knew there had to be a better way to savor this classic snack that included funky, full flavor and healthful ingredients without added calories. I wanted to provide popcorn that is as good FOR you as it is TO you; and it occurred to me that, with the introduction of a few organic spices, I could marry low-cal with zesty zing.
So, with a fervor for flavor and a deep commitment to health, I set out to create something truly exceptional. In order to maintain a healthy profile, I use only pure, organic spices in making SmokeyCorn®️—no added sugar or dairy that boosts the calorie count. Strictly savory, nothing sweet!
Creating the Perfect Popcorn
My kitchen became my laboratory. Here, I developed proprietary spice blends that are unique and unmatched on the market. I didn’t settle for rehashing overused flavors but crafted singular savory sensations that tantalize the taste buds. I crafted my signature flavor, Smokey’s All, from an amalgam of ingredients that I had been using to season popcorn for years as well as something new I discovered in a quaint diner outside the Public Market in Seattle: SMOKE! “Smokey” is my nickname. Smoky also happens to be the basis for some of my favorite flavor fusions. It was the perfect synergy.
The Perfect Pop
For me, the method of popping is crucial. Avoiding seed oils that turn toxic when heated to high temperatures, I opt for coconut oil, which provides a buttery essence without adding the actual butter. “Recently, I added a little spiced salt to a batch, and it inspired me to create a whole new flavor.
Sharing the Joy
One of my greatest joys is sharing my creations. I love for people to enjoy the food I prepare, and SmokeyCorn®️ is no different. The more they enjoy it, the more I’m fulfilled. Feedback is vital to me, and I thrive on the excitement of those who sample SmokeyCorn®️.
